Franchisors have various different marketing strategies and growth plans for different reasons. Some franchisors sell rights to master, or master franchise opportunities as well as individual units. Then there is the franchisor of others who sell only single units and not sell the rights to master, because they want to be the franchisor in all territories and across the nation. Their goal is to eventually franchise in every state and every country in the world. At least those are the goals, dreams and ambitions of most franchise and I speak from experience.
You see, before I retired, I had my mobile operations franchise Louisville, KY car wash in 23 states, serving 450 cities with 187 franchisees and franchisees with four countries and we’ve done it all in a single decade. Of course we made it look easy, but it was not. A franchisor who wants to grow Superfast could establish one master franchises. In other words, they bring up other franchisors, as they have the right to franchise their brands in different states. In large states, for example, they could sell a master franchise for the entire state, and small States there could be several that would be headed by a single master franchise.
